From a poster to stage to studio: Caleb Heiple leads The Angelics, aspiring to advance his music career by producing music
Caleb Heiple, a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in psychology, released in February 2023 his debut EP with The Angelics, an up-and-coming alternative rock band. Heiple, who has been playing guitar, singing and writing music for six years, formed the band in January 2022 with the current lead guitarist.

Bitter Southerner Presents: MJ Lenderman and S.G. Goodman
The Bitter Southerner marked its 10th anniversary on Tuesday with a concert featuring singer-songwriters S.G. Goodman and MJ Lenderman. There were over 250 people in attendance at 40 Watt Club according to Kelly Tibb Jones.

Mayor News Conference
Athens-Clarke County mayor and commissioners will vote on Tuesday, March 7 to approve the redevelopment of Georgia Square Mall. The developers, Leaven Group, will need to resubmit the requested $189 million TAD funding application if a decision is not made.
